Affordable Quality Brushes

I usually use a combination of sable haired brushes and synthetic for the messy jobs when u don't mind ruining the brushes.

However my set of brushes that I had been using where showing their age so I looked for a natural haired brush that wasn't going to break the bank. I'd seen the chronicle brushes on my mini factory frontiers so I thought I'd give them a try.

First off shipping was very reasonable £5 UK and they took about 7 days to arrive all told. Not bad from Australia really.

The brushes arrived well packed inside a storage tube and bag. Some of the tip protectors had come off in transit but there was no damage to any of the brushes.

So I've been using the wolf hair brushes no's 1 & 2 for about 2 weeks now. I find they respond very well. They hold a good amount of paint and keep a good tip. They hold up well under the amount of pressure I use when painting and keep their shapes well. I'd watched a couple of videos on these brushes which said they didn't have much spring back to resting shape ( if you know what I mean). Basically what I'm trying to say is after I finished a stroke with the brush it returns to its shape well with a good point ready to go again. For the price I think I paid £37 UK including shipping I would really recommend them. That's for ten brushes of a good range of sizes for miniature painting. Theirs even a fairly large brush in there should you need to paint some larger panels on say a tank or dreadnought.

Yes I'm very happy with these brushes and will purchase again when I need to.
